Joshua Armell

Student Screenwriter & Filmmaker

(He/Him)

Get to Know Me!

I am an aspiring filmmaker with experience in multiple levels of Film Production, including Directing, Producing, Sound Recording, Editing, and Cinematography. I pride myself on my attention to detail, as well as my willingness to contribute whatever is needed on any set (even though I’m bad at acting). I am also currently serving on the writer’s room for Multiflix Media.
Ever since I was in middle school, I knew I wanted to be a storyteller, and my passion has only strengthened with time. As such, I'm happy and willing to help any of my fellow filmmakers on our shared journey into the industry, and I would love the opportunity to work on your film too!
Feel free to contact me with any inquiries at the bottom of this page.

Screenplays & Stageplays

EXPERIENCE

In 2026 I graduated from SUNY Purchase College with a BA in Playwriting & Screenwriting, having written numerous films and plays across my time there. Additionally, I have had my scripts adapted multiple times now by both my fellow filmmakers and I. With a degree and years of experience in writing for the stage and screen, I dare say I show most of my talent in this field.

EXPERIENCE

Long before ever even attending college, I have experimented with photography in my free time. While not the focus of my artistic pursuits, it serves as an adjacent field I dabble in frequently. As I've gained knowledge and experience in camera equipment and cinematography in my filmmaking pursuits, I've grown to reflect these things in my photography.
